a typical rabbit and cat encounter, it was brief— Munch (rabbit) ran off leaving Louise confused

Life in my studio is entertainment. Munch (rabbit), George and Martha (doves) live in the studio full time.

George and Martha are working hard to make a nest. I am not sure if it is their youth or some need for perfectionism (like if only they had the great nest, Martha could lay) but they have already made six nests. Martha has laid two eggs—that landed on the floor. I suppose she was flying when they dropped.

Louise Bourgeois (cat) is very attached to Munch (rabbit) and spends as much time as I let her on top of Munch's house or alongside it. I don't let her stay there overnight. A cat, a rabbit and two ring neck doves... not a permanently safe grouping.

Just outside my studio are the two budgies and four cockatiels. Today I discovered five eggs in Julia and Larry's nest (cockatiels). They are taking turns sitting with Uncle David watching. Nancy had to be moved to another cage as Julia was just too jealous of her presence. Nancy is keeping watch next door.
